Administrative Executive Committee

 

The Administrative Executive Committee (AEC) is the senior administrative decision-making body at the University. AEC consists of the President, the Vice-President (Academic) and Provost, the Vice-President (Administration and Finance), the Vice-President (Research), the Vice-President (Advancement), and the Orillia Campus Dean. The Executive Assistant to the President serves as Secretary to AEC.

AEC meetings are held in camera as topics of discussion regularly include labour related, employment-related, third-party and other confidential matters pertaining to decision-making at the University.

Although the notes of meetings are confidential, an appropriate synopsis of meeting proceedings is posted on the Lakehead University homepage. The synopsis excludes information that is of a confidential nature.
