ERP System Shutdown - Saturday, October 5th

The ERP system (Colleague) will be offline Saturday, October 5th from 6 am to 5 pm.

This shutdown will be used to close the 2019 financial files and carry the April 30, 2019 balances to fiscal 2020. In order to perform this activity, the system must be offline.

This will affect most of MyInfo and all of Colleague and Informer (reporting).

MyEmail and MyCourselink (D2L) services will not be affected by this shutdown.

Please direct any questions to Jesse Canuel, ERP Manager at managererp.tsc@lakeheadu.ca or 807-343-8435.

Preparing For Inclement Weather

While the University is committed to ensuring campuses remain open for classes and services at all times, we may cancel classes or exams if continuing with normal operations poses a danger to students, staff and faculty.

Now that fall is well underway, our team here at Lakehead Thunder Bay will begin monitoring weather conditions and the latest forecasts.

Weather status procedure

If we cancel classes or examinations because of weather, here is how we will notify students, staff, and faculty:

  • We will send an email notification via the Communications Bulletin.

  • We will notify local and regional media outlets as soon as possible.

In some cases, we may cancel classes or examinations during the day, or decide by mid-afternoon for evening classes.

We encourage you to read our Campus Closure/Class Cancellation policy
